FAQ

  • Who are the counselors and leaders at elijah camp?

All of the counselors and all volunteers are carefully selected, thoroughly trained, and have background checks. They look forward to camp every year and spend many months preparing!

Pastor Christopher and Christine have over 20 years of experience as children's pastors and evangelizing at kids camps.

We have been incredibly blessed to work with some of the most amazing counselors you will ever meet! Many of our counselors have grown up attending and serving at camps for years! They are incredible volunteers who give generously of their time and resources to pour into campers.

  • Was does the daily schedule at camp look like?

During camp, there will be lots of games, activities, snacks, and FUN, but the main focus is that children would have the opportunity to seek the Lord and respond to Him. Each night at our evening services, kids can encounter God at praise & worship, engaging messages from the Word and an opportunity to respond to the Lord during an altar time. Our messages are Bible-based with main emphases on salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing, and sharing our faith with others.

  • Can I choose the team or cabin that my child is in?

We're hoping to host over 100 children at Elijah Camp! Due to this and other factors, we are not able to guarantee any cabin or team placements, but parents are able to submit requests on the registration form. Once registration is closed and team assignments are posted, we're unable to make changes.

  • Do you offer financial support?

Those who are in need of financial support will potentially be able to receive partial or full scholarships on a case by case basis. This is only possible by generous donors who give towards the camp fund! Our registration costs are set up to be as close to the actual camp expenses as possible to make it affordable for everyone. However, you can email us to apply for financial aid.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Refunds on registration are available until we have to submit final deposits to the campground. Once that window is closed, or if a child asks to go home early during camp or is sent home for discipline reasons, refunds are not available.

  • is there a medic on duty at camp?

We have a qualified camp medic on-site all week to handle medications, minor injuries, and any health needs that may arise. Our medic is available at all times and works closely with parents to ensure each camper’s medical needs are clearly understood and properly managed.
